With one you can stop them from setting up, healing and such and with the other you lock them into using a move for 3 turns since you will be going first using this move, you can force him to use the move he just used for the next 3-turns, which should always be a move that he may not have wanted to use 3 times in a row! Reflect and Light Screen Go perfect with ability and lend you team support if you use these include Light Clay as his held item. Thats what I would use although it depends on his role really. U-Turn Great for backing out of a hair situation! If you manage to squeeze two of these puppies out you'll have max defense! Again this goes first! It raises your defense by 3 stages! Thats like 3 defense curls. Subsitute is always a great combo with leechseed and again you'll be putting this out before you opponent goes.Ĭotton Guard Always overlooked, but a very awesome move now. Leech Seed is great because you get to do it first. His ability makes any non-damaging move does a priority move. His ability is sheer madness and you can do a lot of fun stuff with it.

Whimsicott is one of my favorite new Pokemon. Attack too, so I use Swords Dance, Megahorn, Waterfall and Dragon Tail to try to force switches in an emergency. My Samurott's Attack turned out higher than her Spec. He doesn't really have the HP or defenses to maximize on Revenge. It's not that he's bad, necessarily, it's just that he doesn't really excel in any area either. Samurott has issues with being dead-average in every respect. Keep Giga Drain and Leech Seed, but drop Poisonpowder and Endeavor for Substitute and Protect. Whimsicott really isn't much of an attacker. Discharge is kind of pointless if you have Thunder already - I'd suggest Volt Switch, Thunder, Bug Buzz and maaaaybe Thunder Wave to be really annoying. He's very fragile, so Volt Switch is a good tactic - using it to see what your opponent sends out, then Volt Switching to something else that can handle it better is a common tactic with Galv.Īll you really need is Volt Switch and Thunder. Galvantula is meant to have terrible defense - his strengths are in his special attack and his speed. * I do not claim these images they were rightly drawn by random people on the internet * Though, has to be from 5th Gen! I already can serach for the other gen pokemon by myself anyways. I might add Bouffalant just because he looks awesome and looks like he can kick some- *****, I meant to say *****! Anyways, tell me your opinions if this is a good or bad team so far and what pokemon you can reccommend in your favor. So, this is what I have planned for my team so far. He's pretty decent and just there cause he's my starter. Last is my Samurott with a pretty good attack but average defense I guess.Īttacks: Revenge, Slash, Waterfall, and X-Scissor. Great speed but bad special defense.Īttacks: Giga Drain, Poison Powder, Leech Seed, and Endeavor.

Next is my Whimscott who needs a focus sash btw. (Yes it has compund-eyes.) I know I need Bug Buzz!!1!! I have my Galvantula with a very good special attack but TERRIBLE defense.Īttacks: Discharge, Volt Switch, Signal Beam, and Thunder.
